Situated in the south of the Gers, a few minutes drive from the large village of Viella which has a good range of basic facilities including a doctor, P.O. chemist, several shops, a communal swimming pool and a friendly, family run restaurant. The house is in a rural location with lovely views across the Madiran vineyards. The position is secluded but not isolated, with several other properties dotted around the hillside. Viella provides most of the daily requirements but for greater choice the market town of Aire sur L'Adour is about 20 minutes away. This has most facilities including a hospital and all levels of schooling. Pau airport with its daily flight to London Stanstead is less than an hour's drive.
